Conformity of twos

Coupled with the Ocean

The universe is driven by couples.

The animals went to the ark in twos.
The Sun rotates together with the Earth.
The Bride with the Groom.

Yet the Best man is singular...
Where is his couple?
Is it the elephant in the room?

What happens when there isn't a couple?
Conform and create a couple?
A room full of couples and the man with the cup of tea.

When is it that you are alone?
To be alone is to be apart from another.
But what happens when there aren't any others?

If you don't know that anyone else exists, are you alone?
